Just thought I'd say hello as I've just received author pprivileges. My motorcycle is way better than my car, but I love both.

Motorcycle: 2013 Triumph Street Triple (purchased in February 2014)

Car: 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse (purchased in 2007)

My car has been great. I've only ever had to do regular maintenance, and replace the slave cylinder (getting stranded at the air port in the process of losing my ability to get into gear sucks though). Oh, and that one time I had to replace a lower control arm after hitting a curb like an idiot.

I started riding on a Ninja 650R (2009), then moved onto a Yamaha FZ8, then this beauty. I have an affinity for naked sport bikes.

Either way, I'm in the market for a new vehicle, as my car has served me well for 7 years, it was time to move on to something new.

Yessir! I love that little 4cyl engine. I mean, I get to wring it out when it decide to commute with it, and I don't end up getting into trouble. Out of all of the eclipse models, I'm glad I have the 3G.

I worked at a Mits dealer when the 3g came out. I loved the GT/GTS and the dirty sounds they made.

Definitely... I just hate the 2 fast 2 furious did to my car. Honest 3G owners know that their cars look the part, but take tons of modifications to play the part. I've kept mine stock except repainting the car (black paint oxidized). It always pained me to see 3gs rolling around with fart cans, spoilers, and other bling.

Nice! I'm assuming it was a 4cyl engine? I can only guess how that machine rode. I wish they had kept the rounded headlights, but I already got used to my bug eyed beast. I just need the fly screen to complete the look.

Yep, 600cc 4-pot. I took my fly screen (the "pixie hat") off the bike to make it look more like a speed triple.
